I made both of these cards in much the same way, dry embossed with my Cuttlebug and embossing folders (never can remember the names of those darn folders!). These are just two versions of basically the same card, just done in different colors. I love them both. After the embossing, I dusted the raised edges with chalk to enhance the raised areas. What is nice about working with chalk for this process is that if you make a mistake with chalk, it can be erased with a white eraser. If you tried this proceedure with ink (while it can be done, just not by me apparently...) you almost always have some boo-boo's where the ink get's where you don't intend. While I understand that it's supposed to be a unique project and the little mistakes are what makes it that way....I always see the mistakes and they drive me crazy! Here goes....
